We are based in Brighton but traditionally represent clients in employment matters throughout the South of England, including London.
We have a dedicated part of the firm which deals with all aspects of Employment Law from advising on compromise agreements through to long full hearings before the Employment Tribunal.
We receive very many sets of instructions from clients who have been provided with a compromise agreement from their employers making provision for them leaving the company. We provide clear advice as to whether the compromise agreement is fair or not. If the compromise agreement is fair then we will countersign the agreement and allow it to proceed. If we do not consider the compromise agreement to be fair then we will advise you and await your instructions.
If you are encountering difficulties with your employer and you believe that unfair dismissal or perhaps constructive dismissal will be occurring fairly soon then we suggest that you make immediate contact with us so that we can advise you how best to proceed. In so many cases we find that employees said or did something at this early stage which prejudices them later on in the case and often reduces the amount of the award they receive.
Where the matter cannot be resolved in an amicable fashion and an application to the Employment Tribunal has to be issued we continue to negotiate strenuously, attempting to settle the proceedings. Where those negotiations are unsuccessful we then fight very hard for our clients and do everything in our power to win the case.
